2012 Photo Contest
The Kings County Photo Club is sponsoring the 2012 Photo Contest in conjunction with Henry's and The Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch. There will be two categories:

Best Eagle or Bird of Prey Shot

This category is for the photographer looking to capture the great shot of the eagles. Remember to photograph the birds doing something. There are lots of great shots of static eagles. Get them hunting, interacting, feeding, grooming or engaged in other eagle activities. The photo should teach the viewer something about eagles. And because there are more than just eagles out there, the contest is open to any bird of prey.

Best Spirit or Experience of the Sheffield Mills Eagle Weekends

This category is specifically for photographers with all types of cameras. You don't need a lens the size of a canon to compete in this category. All you need is an idea and then the ability to capture it. Attend one of the many scheduled events such as displays and meals (see the website http://www.eaglens.ca/index.php for daily activities), go to the viewing areas or just explore the Valley.
